Ruroc Helmets commissioned a shoot in Manchester to showcase their Batman-themed helmet. The goal was to create visually striking footage with a dark, urban Gotham City vibe. The focus was on atmosphere, using both FPV drone shots and close-up Red camera work close-up shots
The result...
The video opens in a dark lift, giving the impression of ascending to the rooftop. The first rooftop shot reveals the figure standing on the edge, helmet on, holding a flare with the dusk city skyline in the background. The flare is then dropped, and FPV shots track it as it falls against the skyline. The second sequence, set at Gotham Hotel, Manchester at night, follows the figure walking to a black Harley Davidson and moving through the streets, with shots diving and chasing around city. Smoke from the flare, dusk and night lighting, and the urban backdrop create a dark, Gotham-inspired mood. The final edit was completed by Ruroc

Our FPV pilot captured dynamic aerial movements around the rooftop, flare, and city streets, while close-up shots were filmed by the Ruroc team on a Red camera to emphasise details and presence of the figure and helmet. The shoot involved planning with Screen Manchester and the Film Office for road closures and safety management
