The brief...
To capture dynamic, immersive FPV footage showcasing Renaker’s Contour development, we planned a carefully choreographed flight using the DJI FPV drone. The sequence was designed to introduce the development within its city setting before moving through the internal amenity spaces across two floors. The opening sunrise shot was captured separately, two weeks before the main shoot, to make the most of the conditions and provide a warm, atmospheric introduction
The flight plan was mapped out to follow a specific route through the building, with the aim of capturing each amenity space as one continuous flight. Rather than relying on internal transitions, the focus was on natural movement through the spaces, with a single invisible cut inside the lift connecting the ground and first floor

An invisible cut allows the flight to continue on the first floor, maintaining the illusion of one uninterrupted journey. The route continues through the Faldo Lounge, Work Pods, Meeting Room, Meeting/ Mahjong Room, Content Creation Room, Instagram Pod, Contour Suite, Spin Studio, The Club, and The Green. Before returning to the ground floor and finishing at the illuminated Contour logo. The video then fades into Renaker branding

Poor weather on the main shoot day meant we avoided flying through the external terrace and greenery, instead capturing these spaces through the internal shots and views through the glazing. Animated text captions were designed to complement the Contour brand guidelines, using a 40% green overlay and a white angled line that animates out to reflect the development’s architectural design. The client supplied the music, completing the finished edit. The Renaker Contour shoot was directed by Joseph Rapacchietta. Footage was captured using the DJI FPV drone
