The brief...
To showcase the completed Lighthaus development along the Liverpool waterfront, we were commissioned by X1 Developments and Starlight Investments to produce a full video tour of the building. The aim was to capture the scale of the skyscraper and guide viewers through the main spaces, starting at ground level with the reception, study areas, and lounge spaces. The tour continues through the key amenity areas, including the study zone, entertainment lounge, gym, and yoga studio, along with a mid-level terrace overlooking the waterfront. The video also features a walkthrough of a studio, two bedroom, and three bedroom apartments to give a clear sense of layout and atmosphere throughout the development
The result...
The video opens with one of the standout shots of the production, starting at the top of the building and panning down towards Princes Dock and the Liverpool waterfront. A 3D title of the development appears floating on the water, setting the scene for the tour. The final film guides viewers through the building from entrance level to the residential spaces, highlighting the design, facilities, and waterfront setting. Three versions of the video were delivered, one with X1 Liverpool Waters branding, one for Lighthaus, and one for Lighthaus Starlight, allowing the content to be used across different marketing platforms and investor presentations
Behind the lens...
Interior footage was captured using a camera and gimbal setup to create smooth walkthrough sequences across the building. Exterior shots combined wider 24mm views with tighter 70mm drone shots to highlight the architecture and its position along the Liverpool waterfront. This mix of ground filming and aerial footage allowed the development to be shown both as a complete landmark on the skyline and as a series of carefully designed interior spaces
